This course will provide you with an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of educational issues and your chosen specialist pathway as well as developing key skills, which will prepare you for your future career within the diverse field of education.

Employability is a key feature of all modules and the course has excellent links with employers. Within the Work based placement module there is integrated input from the careers service and the opportunity to attend a school or non school placement.

The degree provides excellent grounding for those wishing to pursue a teaching career or education related career within all sectors of education/learning (compulsory and post-compulsory, school, nonschool and community based education). Progression to the PGCE Primary prgramme at Cardiff Met is a popular choice for many of our graduates.
