Repomen might seem to have crashed into the scene from outta nowhere, but collectively these music buffs have decades of experience to build on.
After the demise of Borehole three of its members – including the hardest hitting lady from the Lowlands - started jamming for fun. Joining them on bass and lead vocals was Peter, singer/guitar player of Holland's premier rock & roll band Peter Pan Speedrock.
Before they knew it the riffs started to roll and songs were born. This was all too good to keep for themselves, so on November 17th 2007 Repomen played their first major show in hometown Eindhoven, supporting the illustrious Hermano in front of 1300 electrified rock aficionados.
After that sublime night the buzz got going and the world-renowned Roadburn festival booked Repomen right off the bat. Meanwhile Dutch rock label Suburban Records, also home to The Hydromatics and Hermano, offered them a deal. Riding on momentum the foursome baptized their album 'Roadkill'. Shining unpolished in sonic glory, eight massive groove monsters lay down the law like early Motörhead playing blues for the red sun. 'Roadkill' rocks like there's no tomorrow, boasting an authentic thunderous sound which will give every modern day Pro Tools prick a run for his money.
