Trip details:
When: Tuesday, May 6 – Saturday, May 10 (leaving late afternoon after finals, back by Saturday late evening)
Cost: $210 – GSU students, staff/faculty – $235, non-GSU affiliated participants – $250. You must sign up and submit the full trip payment by April 18. This trip offers early bird pricing for GSU students: sign up and pay in full by April 14 and receive $10 off the trip price!!
What’s included: Round-trip transportation on a charter bus, three nights in a hotel (4 people to a room), a boat tour on the Potomac River, a tour of the U.S. Capitol, entrance to several museums, such as the Newseum, National Cathedral, the Smithsonian Museums, and Thomas Jefferson’s home at Monticello. (meals not included)
To register: Sign up at the Touch the Earth center located behind the recreation center (open Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm).
Registration opens on March 18. Registrants must submit a non-refundable $100 deposit, registration form, and a copy of their Georgia State ID to reserve a space on the trip. You will be asked for your roommate preferences at the time you register. A tentative itinerary will be available upon request. Mandatory pre-trip meeting: To be announced.
