    Another great one. Visual Poetry!

Loved the sausage dog running and the shadow time lapse at the end.

Such fantastic imagery. The opening shot was immensely great :) The timelapses in the end were fantastic, loved the growing shadows. How long did it take you to film? And great song choice..

the last time lapse shot took just 5 minutes!

Beautiful! I have to look at a Letus for the EX1. I have a great arsenal of Canon and Nikon lenses I'd love to use. I'll probably need some advice. First I need to tame the EX1 beast.

Good choice of music. Glad you didn't choose Closer :-)

  • I shot some stuff in Red Rock Canyon on the 19th.
I have to admit it's not es beautiful as yours. Nevertheless I'll post it on vimeo next week.
In comparison to yours I avoided people and focused more on the vegitation.
    I was shooting with a HVX200, Letus Extreme and a 50mm Nikkor.

look forward to seeing it! will you email me a link?

The footage looks great. Personally, I would've desaturated the hell out of it for the NIN contest, as the music is a bit stark and minimal. But to each their own. Thanks for making a superb demo on the EX3. My jaw dropped when you pulled the lens off the body. I'm looking into purchasing a couple of them for a feature martial arts film in the fall.

Doesn't anyone notice the SUPERB Letus ultimate here??? Straight into the sun and you cant see any grain with very fast shutter speeds. Whooooooohooo..

Ok, it takes a master to master this masterpiece (doh..what a sentence - but hey, this quality of video is worth it hehehe) But that adapter (red)ROCKS!

PS. Is that CC rotation of the spinning GG you can see a little in shot 01:54 ??

Edit: Also It seems more crispy sharp then your other footage
  • Philip Bloom plus 2 years ago
it is much sharper than the extreme. Deer Vegas was all 720p this is 1080p. It's the compression of all the blues that is that is doing that. The master version is completely clean.

Ditto to what everyone else is saying!! I love your stuff. I love the clarity of your cam. The EX1 is so good. I know the price is a steal for it, but $8000.00 is a bit steep for me at this time. I sure would love to get my hands on the EX1. However, that being said, it is your creative use of it that makes your films so very good. :o)

I'm so glad I've discovered VIMEO. I really think it has invigorated my work more than anything.. Studying the works of passionate film makers and budding DOP's on here has really opened my eyes to how I can integrate new styles and techniques into my repetuare.
Thank you for sharing your work with us.
