The recently launched Interactive Design Program provides a new model to bring access to education and employment to high school students in rural and regional areas. Lightmare Studios, an Australian game development company, and The Gordon, one of the largest regional providers of vocational education, have teamed up to create the Interactive Design Program. In its first year of implementation, the program incorporates a virtual class and employment model, delivering a qualification in interactive media and game design to high school students.
