We got a new seastar in our seawater aquarium - the tube feet are a beautiful orange colour.
For the filming, the seastar was half submerged in a shallow dish with seawater so that its surface would stay wet. The tube feet quickly retract when the seastar is touched and then slowly reemerge.
A quick test of the Raynox DCR-150 macro lens together with the Panasonic 100-300.
For the key light, I used an old overhead projector and moved it very close.
I had to close down the aperture quite a lot, to get a deeper DOF.
