On April 18th 2014 at 13:07UT AR2036 produced a M7-class solar flare.

A total of 231 video sequences were obtained from 12:47 to 14:04. Each video sequence consisted of 180 frames and the sequences was shot with an interval of 20 seconds between each video. The sharpest 40 frames from each sequence was combined together and then assembled into a time-lapse using 12 fps. Thus speeding up motion by a factor 240 effectively compressing the ~1 hour 17 minutes of duration down to ~19 seconds.
