thanks for watching! and good to meet a fellow HBer...i moved here about 8 months ago and love it. that car meet down at the pier is great...its like living in a beach boys song seeing all those convertibles and woodys with surfboards strapped to the roof. viva la Huntington!

I entered the same contest. My first. I see you featured signs of businesses, a statue and stuff I thought was not to be shown. How does that work?
My work was not nearly as good as yours. I learned a lot but would like to know, where I went wrong, regarding copyrights or whatever it is I worked so hard to edit out.

Yeah...reading through the rules they posted for the contest, I saw how a lot of those things were restricted. Signs, business names, logos, etc. Also said entrants were supposed to get permission for anyone whose likeness was presented, too. I figured that for HB, with a beach and main street plastered with business names and with hundreds of people, that would be pretty much impossible. It was either go bland following the rules, or turn in something halfway interesting that ignored the rules entirely...haha. Go figure.
