Jesus told us that no one can know when He will return—and yet there remain so many people who do not believe Him! Books on the End Times fill the shelves of every Christian book store in town. Preachers tell us that they have cracked “The Bible Code” and now know when Christ will return. People want to know because they want to be ready. But they can’t know---according to Jesus, no one can know. So if we can’t know when He will return, how can we be ready? We can be ready by being faithful to our call; to be people of love, reaching out in the name of Jesus Christ to offer grace where there is alienation, healing where there is hurt, and love where there is hatred.
