Settings: 60i, sunset mode, manual focus.

    That scene is so impressive. The filigree flowers in front and the huge and massive landscape. Wonderful. I like this view and the choice of the cameraposition. The DOF is not perfect while it's changing but still very nice! And of course I like the warm colors....

    Thanks a lot. I didn't plan for the shot, but noticed the flower and then just tried it (I always try to find some objects for some DOF effect).

    The red glow is caused by the sunset mode (which retains the proper exposure at sunset).

    Great shot. I am looking at getting the HF100, but I am worried abount the manual focus facility. Did you manualy focus the DOF, or move to autofocus on the background?

    I manually set focus and I had no problems but some people did say they had issues with it (so ymmv).

    Shallower DOF is achieved with the HF100 by zooming in.
