Description: Excerpt from stop motion film "Mary and Max". One of my favorite shots is the subway. I used motion control to rock the carriage and move the background bridge framework and buildings. The moving bridge structure also gave the lighting a nice flicker. John Lewis the animator just had to animate things like the apple on the floor and the rocking motion of the handgrips, plus a few blinks for Max.
