What presets did you have to get it to look so good?
James
I'm so glad I found your videos.
They are awesome!
I use a Z1U and edit on Vegas as well.
I am just now getting into producing wedding videos.
It's great to see your quality of work to use as an example.
By the way, since you also use a Z1U, do you know the correct settings to use 2 Lav body packs at the same time?
I'm able to use a shotgun mic on the left channel and 1 lav on the right channel.
But when I try use 1 Lav on the left and 1 Lav on the right I have trouble.
Just thought I'd ask,
Nick
Thanks for the compliments. Im going to try my best to answer your question without pulling out the camera as everything is packed for a shoot tommorrow.
Based on what you have said I am assuming that your shotgun requires phantom power?? I hope I am right. If so check directly in front of the XLR plugs on the camera and toggle the phantom power switch to off for the BOTH channels whenever you are using both wireless lavs. When you plug back in the shotgun you will need to toggle the phantom power to ON for the SHOTGUN CHANNEL ONLY!!
If this is not it let me know and we will dive deeper. There is a multitude of settings within the Z1U menu that affect audio so It could be a variety of things but based on what info you provided I think this may help you out.

For the lav issue: 1 channel for the shotgun with phantom and on ch 2: 1 reciever without phanton as you said, with 2 lav transmitters on the same frequency.
Seems to work out very well.
Just added your nice vid to my channel. Greetz.
We hand over SD as a part of our standard packages. If the client desires Blu-Ray that is an option that everyone can upgrade too.
We edit everything in HD though!! This allows for high quality online samples and I think the downres from our NLE to SD DVD looks better than a downres from the camera.
Thanks for the comments!
