Recording from a live performance in London 2007. I designed the robot for a project by artist Margie Medlin. It is controlled in real-time by rotational motion sensors on the dancer Carlee Mellow. The control signals are transmitted via radio link to the robot, and can be intercepted simultaneously by a computer running Motion Builder software. This data can be recorded for later playback, or used for real-time control of an onscreen avatar.
