Every autumn, in our Neo-humanist kindergarten in Bucharest, the teachers and children spend weeks preparing the "Bazarul de Toamna". Hand-made crafts, winter preserves, and lots of sweets are prepared by the children. On the special day, the courtyard of the kindergarten is transformed into an open-air market (piatsa) and the children, dressed in traditional Romanian costumes, become the sellers with parents, grandparents, sisters and brothers as the customers.
