Lionel Retornaz, is a French director, producer and editor,
and also a friend of mine.

I designed his 2005-2006 demo reel ID, on air and print.
which was all designed side by side to make a complete package, for lionel to send out to clients.

..I left a few frames from his reel at the start of this, so
you could see how it looked going from his work to the logo animation of his name.

production notes : The typeface used for Lionel's logo,
is an original handrawn typeface, which I then used Adobe Illustrator to complete. It was based on a few
bits of type that I had sourced. I tried to make it my own. This was the first time I had ever used the typeface in a project, and I think Lionel deserved that.
