Nashville artist Bryce McCloud wanted to give back to his community by creating 'Democratizing Art' which is public art that people of any economic class could afford. Large sculpture was his first love but Bryce realized the expense of commissioning a large work in bronze limited most of his audience from affording his work.
Bryce's realization that his family's long time connection with the antiquated art form of letterpress printing allowed him to create inexpensive works of art which can be distributed widely. Bryce feels his message is accessible to all people of all economic backgrounds by embracing this family tradition of letterpress.
