Web 2.0 Expo Is An Active Community - Girls Gone Geek
2 years ago
The Web 2.0 Expo is happening this week in San Francisco. Users, builders, and thought leaders are all converged on Moscone West to talk about emerging trends and technologies in the web space.
Stacy O'Connell, the Vice President of Marketing at TechWeb, sat down with us to talk about the origin of Web 2.0 and its continued growth serving the community. We talk about the tools expo attendees and the community-at-large can use to stay connected to the event before, during and after expo hours. Using web applications such as: Crowdvine, Roamabout, and Twitter, to name a few, anyone who has access to the web can participate in Web 2.0.
This year, the event organizers have taken on the green cause and is encouraging attendees to reduce, reuse and recycle.
