Inspired by this video vimeo.com/74110954 , I tried to create something similar with Houdini. Thanks to all those nice tips and trick from Spencer Lueders in his CGworkshop, I came up with these tests. Still some issues, but I'm kind of happy how it turned out. Main sim was only around 90k, rest is replicated in SOPs with some particles driven by main sim (that's the part I'm not happy with and needs much more work).
