Tinos Design Project in progress

This video presents the furniture, designed by the architect Maria Vidali and created by 11 craftsmen from the island of Tinos. This project also includes the video work and sound project by Fill Ieropoulos and the theoretical work by the semiologist Rea Wallden, which all together created the core of the exhibition “The Poetics of Matter”. The objective of the exhibition was not only the creation of a cyclical path among material, design and medium, but also the dialogue between the different phases of creation. The exhibition pieces of furniture belong to the collection “Tinos Design Project” and are still produced numbered by the craftsmen of Tinos.
