DigItSignal, Live webcast from Feb. 7, 2010

The experimental world based virtual experimental music ensemble performs a live webcast over Livestream.com every couple of weeks. Their live music is created through spontaneous improvisation connected from their diverse locales over two continents, by the software NinJam. For video the four piece ensemble uses public domain classic films from various Internet archives. This particular cast was the concluding set for the Fritz Lang film 'M'.

DigItSignal is made up of Jim Goodin (violin/fretless guitar/loops, USA/NY), Peter Thorn (saxophones/nykelharpa/percussion, Sweden), Ray Istorico (electronic drums/FL) and Jeff Duke (guitar/electronics/loops, USA/FL). For this cast the ensemble was joined by Steve Moyes (cello/electronics, UK) and David Perreko (percussion/guitar, Canary Is).
