    awesome work!

curious about your marketing strategy - why you guys would release this short on your site? Do you think it wil benefit or hurt your ability to get it into short film festivals by losing the premiere status of the film?

Wyatt, thanks for the response. I have to agree with you. I have two short films that are over 20 minutes and here in Brasil it's very rare to have a short over 10 minutes. But I agree with you about how most fests operate. The old model is exactly that, old. Times are changing for filmmakers and options are getting interesting.

Taking advantage of the internet offers the filmmaker some interesting tools to target and reach more viewers than a festival which has limited seating (most of them are still not embracing the internet, not even film trailers are posted on most.)

Not all films will require the silver screen (more of an old conditioned ego thing really) and with the possibilities the internet offers you can access a lot more eyeballs for less money with the right marketing strategy and be in control of the entire dist game.

anyway.. great achievement with your film! it was very inspiring.

  • You get a like from me. I really feel that some visual limits were pushed here. I rarely watch stuff this long on vimeo but it had me captivated the whole time. This film deserves some accolades. Good luck.

The music that drops on 4:18 is a DJ named Riskotheque. You can find him on My Space music. I was very grateful for him to let me use it. Super nice guy.
