its just way different then star guitar
  • Much more simple than Gondry's Star Guitar (that involved weeks of CG/compositing) but as efficient ! and beautiful

This video brought my memories back, thank you! I love this route and the both cities it connects. I've been couple of times there and I just cannot imagine not going there again sometime in the future.

Look and feel is just amazing.

What kind of lens you have been using? It is interesting to see the quality of EP-1 :)

    I used M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 17mm F2.8 lens.
    (F2.8, 1/1000 - 1/4000sec)
I do nothing special to stabilize, just put a camera on side table. It's so clam in Shinakansen.

    Thanks a lot!

  • Nice stuff man!

I sense some similarities in the playing with the visual axis.

    Cheers

Michel Gondry does a very similar video (minus the mirror effect), I believe it's a Chemical Bros. music video. It is not as smooth as yours though. Well done sir!

Its amazing how steady the camera was throughout the shoot. I'm not sure this would have been possible on an american train in the east coast. Havn't added a vid to my Double Take channel in a while. This one definitely made the cut.

  • The simplest idea and one of the most amazing video that I ever seen here in Vimeo! Astonishing!! May I suggest to do a sequel in the reverse way? West people like europeans and americans are used to read from left to right, so it could be a little "strange" wiev a video from right to left (star guitar is opposite to you video). In any case thanks fo rthe amazing shot!
