Devon avenue is basically little india/pakistan in chicago. a while back, i passed this place named "mahboob" and thought it was a HILARIOUS name for a salon. Later, i was talking to my friend about where to get a nose piercing, and she said that her friend had actually gone there! so of COURSE i had to get my nose pierced at a place named after the prettiest part of a lady's body, and my bud clara (of vimeo.com/clip:77189 fame) decided to get hers too.
