Born on the Island of Malta, Noreen Riols was one of only six women spies with the S.O.E, a British Secret Service organization inspired by Winston Churchill!
Noreen is the author of ten books, including the Ther Ardnakil Chronicles, which tells the accounts of 1940 London through post-war France.
She has given speeches on TV, the radio and all around the world – from Britain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Russia, the Channel Islands, Canada, to the U.S. She has also worked for the BBC, where she met her husband and then worked behind the “Iron Curtain”, Opera Mundi.
In 2001 she received the Joyce Grenfell Prize for Humour from the Society of Women Writers and Journalists!
