I am pretty new to paramotoring but have been taking every opportunity to practice my kiting. After watching dozens of videos on Youtube and learning the hard way what not to do, I have found 3 things (after the basics) which have been improving my ground handling skills exponentially.
those 3 things as shown in the kiting video above are:
1. Less brakes. Being too heavy on the brakes meant the wing wouldn't stay up long.
2. weight shifting towards the falling end of the wing.
3. Get under it! Running under the wing almost always brings it back above you.
I hope this video helps any others new to Powered paragliding like myself. It is a lot of hard work, but a lot of fun once you start flying.
