A robin built a nest in a hanging basket on our porch and laid 4 eggs. That kept mom and dad busy for the next four weeks. Here's what happened.

I love little robins. They look like old men with those white plumes coming off their heads.

It's exactly how I feel in my life right now as my kids are entering college. It's comforting to know that Life imitates nature so very very intimately. I didn't at all expect the ending to be so stark. I fact, just like my life, I didn't expect the birds to fly off in the end. Even though thats what birds and kids do. It was the perfect thing for me to see, even though I am acutely aware of what I am experiencing in my life right now, and it's implications. I feel like that awe-struck bird to come home to an empty nest, and my jaw's on the floor. Thank You for sharing this video. Thank you! I'd like to see a sequel so I can see what's in store for me now :)

Well said :) I love the way it represents how life unfolds from day one until independence. It might be a lot of work for the parents a while, but the results will pay off :D

It shows how the bird's family bonds... So sad when they grew up they won't know who are their relatives...

The bird built a nest in a hanging basket on the porch and laid four eggs. The birds were kept busy over the next four weeks. After all, nature is left to shoot the wise lesson: babies came, the parents ate in a comprehensive and unique activity and gone. Thus, the cycle is closed and will be repeated continuously. The nature now, will require their sacrifice in coming generations.
And finally what was left was the frustration of an empty nest ...
    Congratulations, Fred, I liked.

    Hello Fred.
Congratulations for the excellent video. It is very beautiful.
I live in Brazil and would like to know you would allow me the copy and use here in a DVD project? This DVD will not be sold or marketed.
    Thank you.

They are such beautiful creatures.they are so nice to watch. We need to preserve our wildlife so our children will have them to see.
