hi, this is another procedural experiment, less abstract than usual this time. It's heavily based on perlin noise of course, and some "mathemagics". Written in C. It was more of a technical challenge than anything else... The complete movie was generated from a 4 kilobytes executable (yep, you can download a 4 kilobytes, run it, and the one gigabyte of frames are generated on your disk). The music is not procedural.

This is insane! There must be some kind of cheating involved! Nobody can squeeze this into 4kb :) The still already got me freaked out at Breakpoint. But seeing the animation is just too much! how is anyone supposed to submit something to 4kb executable after the alltime winner has already been set?

Btw: Why not upload a full HD-Version?

so does this copy the frames to your harddrive and then you can play it like a movie or is this realtime. Really impressive no matter how it works.
