Bumble Bee's launch of the new Heritage Pack of tuna was accompanied with an Augmented Reality app, a Facebook Connect sharable movie and the transformation of Horatio, the iconic 2D bee that has graced the sides of tuna cans for decades.

Working with Lagardère Unlimited, we evolved the Horatio character design, brought him into the world of 3D and created a minute-long musical focused on Bumble Bee throughout the ages. Hooking it up to Facebook, we developed a system where users could then embed pictures of themselves into the movie and share the link with friends.

To top it off, we built an AR recipe app that spawned directly from the can, presenting recipes, cooking footage and ringtones - complete with a backend CMS where the client could swap out in-app graphics, recipe text and footage to keep things fresh and updated.
