never have i seen anything that was basically re-appropriated footage strung together that was able to incite such a visceral experience.

It's like this: Casablanca came out in 1938 and basically has a protagonist who goes through the journey of being indifferent to the turmoil caused by world war II, but by the end of the picture, he has changed and has become aware of the problems facing others, and the importance of sticking your neck out for a just cause. In many ways, Rick's dilemma reflects America's at the time that film was made.
On one level, this is an entertaining picture about a love triangle. On another level it is a piece of propaganda designed to plant the seed in the viewers head, to make them ready to fight for their country. Was it designed that way, probably not. But it is fair for me interpret it that way.
In regards to 9/11 - I think that no one will ever know what really happened, who knew what and when. My video very much plays upon the fear that we didn't know everything we were told, which is one possibility. But everything could merely be a coincidence. Some days I feel one way, other days I feel the other.
I know the video comes across as very authoritarian, but it was made at a time when I was going through some very bad things in my own life. At a personal level: It is merely a window in the mind of someone with paranoid tendencies.
