International Workers' Day is an annual holiday on May 1 that celebrates solidarity among workers around the world. A holiday march kicked off the holiday at the historic site of the Haymarket Riots, the Haymarket Memorial, and ended at the Chicago Field Office building, 101 W. Congress Pkwy. Protesters showed support for working families separated by deportations as well as workers who are struggling while making minimum wage. Produced for The Columbia Chronicle.
