The Sheriff's ASTREA helicopters are flying into action as they help put out wildfires across San Diego County. When the Bernardo Fire broke out on Tuesday, May 13th, ASTREA helicopters wasted little time in dropping water on the flames that were creeping dangerously close to homes.

Thanks to skills and bravery of ASTREA pilots Scott Bligh and Dave Weldon, no homes were destroyed during the Bernardo Fire.
