The Bristol Bike Project: an amazing initiative run entirely by volunteers. Members of the public donate unused bikes to the group, who teach people from disadvantaged and marginalised groups to fix them up, and keep them for their own.

Every Wednesday and Thursday the bike fix up and give out up to ten bikes to a range of people, from asylum seekers to recovering addicts.

The Bristol Bicycle Project = freedom to travel for free, new friends and relationships, new skills learnt, new toys and tools for those who need them most.
