Computer Love is a technology based dance film shot entirely on webcam made as a commission for DanceDigital and Thurrock Council. It's a modern interpretation of the balcony scene from Romeo & Juliet played out in an on-line chatroom entitled Computer Love (a euphemism for cyber-sex). The audience are invited to voyeuristically spy upon their hidden private world via webcam – viewing both dancers and all typed communication simultaneously – privy to the reality of their thought processes and feelings before they reveal them on-line. The film combines Shakespearean language with urban dance, instant messaging and an original soundtrack by Graham Boosey.
