TATU RÖNKKÖ - I PLAY YOUR KITCHEN

TATU RÖNKKÖ, the Finnish drummer/percussionist began playing monthly, improvised concerts in people's kitchens in August 2013.

With a concept of bringing people together in an intimate and familiar setting away from the formality of a regular concert, Tatu’s performances are informed and shaped by his environment. Finding the voice of the kitchen he improvises using only objects found within each particular space, providing a unique experience which breaks down the barrier between musician and audience.
