This was a lost poem written at the back of a book of gravestones signed Earl Koehler. The Illustrations are by Carl Chelf, according to his widow Jeanette Welty Chelf he was the first geologic curator of the Texas Memorial Museum of Science and History, among other things. He was an archaelogist and a geologist. He was born in Abilene Texas in 1915 and passed away in 1986.
A LITTLE INK MORE OR LESS;
YET I CHERISH THEM--EACH AND ALL,
FOR AS I TURN THESE THUMB STAINED PAGES
BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES THEY RECALL.
AND AT SOME UNKNOWN HOUR,
WHEN I SHALL BE CALLED BY DEATH
THESE POEMS WILL LINGER ON--STILL REMAINING-
A LITTLE INK MORE OR LESS.
