AUTO-TOMY is an A/V documentation of a multi-media sculptural installation that existed for about 2 weeks in the summer of 1997, seen by perhaps 10,000 pedestrians in the Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland, Oregon, as a pre-festival, kick-off to Portland's annual Artquake (discontinued since 1995). A week later, it was seen by perhaps 100,000 at the Seattle Center, as part of the annual Bumbershoot: Seattle's Music & Arts Festival.
