This is a film I made when I went to France in April 2007. Almost all of the places we go to had been legends to me growing up. I had watched movies about them, read books about them, played games about them. I finally got to actually see and touch them.
I went with my father and my grandfather, who I'm named after. The trip was given to me as a birthday present.

Ashton Silva 1 year agoAWESOME! I am currently on vacation in France. I just got back from Omaha Beach, Sword Beach, and Point Du Hoc. Point Du Hoc is amazing. walking through all the bunkers and looking out to the water makes you think of what it was like during the invasion. -
Robert Loughlin 1 year agoYea, Pointe Du Hoc is amazing...one of the things that really got me about Pointe Du Hoc were the craters (the teardrop ones were from the cruisers and the round ones were from the bombers)
