This project was pretty tricky. done mostly in photoshop with a small amount of 3d used for the downstairs areas and perspective guides for the new floors (not shown in video, and though technically correct, by request were eventually disregarded to show more of the upper balcony.)

in hindsight probably more suited for a full 3d render but when we started seemed like photoshop would work fine.

for this project, the client is adding a middle level to an existing theater and knocking out the lower portion of the existing second level.the render was to be done in a watercolor style so it didn't need to be as technically tight as most of our other projects since it would be soften with effects in the end. there is a frame with client markups, at that point i basically had to almost start over from scratch so you're not having deja vous. ...

btw, there is a lapse in the video i need to fix. not bad but i'll re-upload soon.
