The 14th EAAE Congress intends to take stock of the insights of scholars into Agri-Food and Rural Innovations for Healthier Societies issues in all areas of agricultural, food and rural economics. This is a next video presentation of seven Congress plenary themes. Dr. Soler evaluates extent of manufacturers’ adaptation to recent EU Food & Health Policies and highlights some key consumers’ responses on this issue.

About dr Louis-Georges Soler:
Louis-Georges Soler is an economist and a senior researcher at INRA (France). He chairs the research unit "Food and Social Sciences" (Ivry-sur-Seine). His research has been focused on nutritional policies for several years, especially on the supply side and the strategies implemented by the food industry to meet the challenges related to health and nutritional issues. He has participated in several research projects in France and in Europe. He has also been involved as an expert in the design and the evaluation of nutritional policies and contributed to the implementation of the "French observatory of nutritional quality of foods" which aims at measuring the product quality changes done by the food manufacturers and retailers.
