    This is just fantastic!

As a part of this community, and a grad student studying anthropology, AFOL's have always been something I have wanted to write / produce a film about.

Very well shot and edited too, looks professional.

Hopefully there will be more to come!

Excellent film and wonderfully shot. Great job!

I became a AFOL two years ago after a 20 year gap. Everyone who comes into my office now ends up playing, so much fun!

Kind of "ego stroking" to see all my little bricks scattered about. This is really, really well done. Thanks for the detail and lack of camera shake. Nice to see some of people which I have ground their names into The Brick.

Finally get to see what Wayne Hussey looks like. lol

Really good stuff. I like when a documentary's subjects drive the whole project without a dedicated "narrator".

Loved it. Anyone get the name of the guy who does the 1950s paintings and talked about creating cars? I tried Googling the names in the credits but couldn't find him. I would like to check out some of his paintings online, if possible.

Funny thing - geographic distance does not make AFOLs much different from each other...only size of collections is directly influenced by standard...
    PS. Make it dowloadable...please?
I would reeaally like to have this movie in personal collection...

Really super nice work !!! I think that's the first time I'm watching something that long on Vimeo (I have difficulties when it's more than 5 minutes) and I didn't even see the time flying. I like passionate people and you showed it really well, merci !

Very good Jess, it grasps the spirit of Lego builders. I like in particular the part of the expo, I'm an active member of the Italian Lego Users Group and I like to show my creations.
    Compliments !

I love watching this every once in a while. It lets me know there are others out there that share my passion. I'd love to go to Washington to meet all the AFOLs someday. Thanks for making such a wonderful documentary. I'd love to see some extended interviews with these folks as well.

Confirms all my positive and neutral prejudices about AFOLs. Great little documentary! Lovely to see these cool guys getting respect and not turning their hobby into a freakshow, which a lot of documentaries do these days.

This video has some great ideas, to succeed in life.
Like what you do. Do what you like. Self sustaining.
And when the dreads settle in, change direction.
