A couple months ago I shot a similar video at the Berkeley, CA pier on the Canon T1i. I am moving in a couple weeks so I wanted to go down there one last time, this time with my beloved 7d. I am highly impressed with this camera. Most of this video was shot using the T1i kit lens (18-55mm 3.5-5.6) and the video quality still looks great! Of course it was a nice sunny day and I would have been screwed with this lens if it was darker out, but with that said this camera can even make good video with some crappy glass attached.
