A mixed martial arts (MMA) flash exhibition held at a popular monument in Senegal, and look at the local obsession with physical fitness. Peek into Rollin' in Dakar, an upcoming film by Genghis Con that documents an American team introducing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and MMA to Senegal, as part of the Lion Heart Initiative.

The Lion Heart Initiative is a non-profit endeavor to introduce and develop MMA in West Africa. The initiative aims to introduce urban youth to BJJ, Muay Thai, and multidimensional MMA; concurrently, allowing visiting martial artists to experience indigenous West African wrestling.

In November 2013, a small American team from KOA Martial Arts in Stafford, VA traveled to Senegal. While shooting Rollin' in Dakar, they lived in a small house within the local community and used public transportation to get around, truly experiencing the sights, sounds, and smells of local culture, as well as the smoldering heat and some challenges of working in West Africa.
