Video capture of an installation at the Broad Institute, in Cambridge, MA. The installation shows realtime data coming off of the genetic sequencing, chemical screening, and microarray analysis machines running in the labs of the building.

I wrote custom software that grabs the latest data uploaded from the sequencing/imaging machines that run all day, and displays the data, errors and all, to the people on the sidewalk of the research institute.

The point of the work is to back up the Broad's open information policies. All of their data is freely available online for anyone to see and use. Built in collaboration with Bang Wong, the Broad's design director.
