This was my first attempt at a time lapse trip.
I drove from Victorville, CA to Santa Monica, CA and then back home again..."It was the first time I drove all the way to the beach and not get out of the truck!"...lol
Anyhow, I cut some quick tunes to it and here it is...

Yes Actually, I got it from a friend The song is called "IntenCity" and it seemed to work perfect with this drivelapse edit, I'm still new to the whole timelapse stuff, but I feel more experiments on the way...
    "Can't wait!" =)

    dude you were bookin...

sucks that gas is so expensive now. i used to drive up to big bear or palm springs on the weekends without even thinking about it. now it's at least $70 in gas. :(

I know, it's getting very hard to go out and do simple photography now...
    Something's gotta give somehow, someway...
It's at the point where you gotta practically take a loan out just to pay for fuel!....lol, "crazy stuff!"...

very inspiring, I plan on capturing a few sequences like this for the project I'm working on if time permits. In Sweden that trip would have cost about US$150 in gas, so you have a long way to go :) People here are still driving.

Truly, but given the size of Sweden, you'd need more like $20bucks....lol, j/k
But seriously, where are you planning to conduct your project?, Europe?...
You could also stitch a few short clips together, I just saw that famous "Time Lapse from L.A. to New York" video and noticed that the creator was sparing when he stitched the clips together which looked amazing thanks to the steadiness of his camera mount.
Some simple cross fades did the trick!...I can't wait to do it again.

Actually, going from the south of Sweden where I live now, to the north would be about the equivalent of going from Santa Monica to Seattle so it is possible to cover quite big distances by car here, I never have though :D.

The project I'm doing is pretty much done but if the band want me to cover up some clips this kind of city "time travel" material would work well. I would only require a few seconds so I shouldn't need to drive very far.
