Notes: We shot this in LA in early November '09. A year earlier Annie was staying with me (GabrielG) in Silverlake ; we were working on a music project during the days but at night I was working as a bartender and leaving her alone. She went for one walk on a beautiful winter's night in LA. She was captivated by the hills and golden hour and magic in the air, but none of the people that she passed by on her walk seemed to even notice any of it. She went back to my place and wrote this song about "beauty I suppose, tonight it's just mine". A year later, we tried to create a vision of this experience, a dreamlike recollection. We returned to the places that had inspired the song, found these long steps that lead down to Sunset Boulevard, and knew this was the place to film the video. Much thanks to all the actors who walked up and down and up and down these steps.
