Last summer I was asked to teach the Game Design class for the UCLA Summer Institute. Each session of the Summer Institute lasts for one week. The class is for the high school level and there are no programming prerequisites to enroll. To make sure that every student was able to create a game in such a short time but still learn about the best practices in Flash development I created a game engine to help them out. This is a demo of the level design functionality of the engine. Collsion detection is done with the Collision Detection Kit by Corey O'Neil
