This installation shows realtime data coming off of the genetic sequencing, chemical screening, and microarray analysis machines running in the labs of the Broad Institute.

I wrote custom software that grabs the latest data uploaded from the sequencing/imaging machines that run all day, and displays the data, errors and all, to the people on the sidewalk of the research facility.

The point of the work is to back up the Broad's open information policies. All of their data is freely available online for anyone to see and use. This project was developed with Bang Wong, the design director of the Broad Institute.
