Really interesting to see it played backwards. Weird.

I love the woman with a plastic table on her head!

And this video kept my attention all the way to the end. It's amazing how different everything seems in reverse. The simplest & most boring movement becomes alive and refreshing.

i didn't know things moved backwards in india!!! is it kind of like how the toilet flushes the other direction in australia?

:-) this is very nice. i though the music was very fitting as well.

I love the way this synchs with the music. Just beautiful. I'm struck by how a simple move like reversing the film makes everything more abstract. When we were kids on rainy days we'd always beg to watch the film in reverse and it was very funny. It has the opposite effect here... maybe the music, maybe the subject... very contemplative. Reminds me of a number of pop tunes of watching the street below. I love that all this stuff keeps trickling out of that trip.

The reverse play reminded me of an article about language and the passage of time. It described a South American native language in which, oddly, the Past is considered in front of people, the Future behind them - the idea being that you can "see" the past, but not the future. If the arrow of time were to change direction I wonder if we would have any way of realising it. The idea seems implied in the Journey to Jaipur video too - with two perspectives running in opposite directions.

I liked the extreme contrast between the serenity of the music you chose and the chaos of the street :-).

PS Alex's quotes.... wow... What memory.

Nicely done. India is so incredibly fast paced. The music works really well. You've inspired me to edit my India footage!
