The annual snow campout with the scouts. This year given the poor snow conditions at Snoqualmie Pass we went up to Paradise at Mt. Rainier National Park. At 5700 feet there is plenty of snow. We snowshoed up the hill around 1/3 of a mile and dug snow caves. Steve and I built an igloo on a small bluff. Everyone stayed warm and no one lost any fingers or toes.
