i used a sanyo xacti vpc-hd with a gorillapod, some electrical tape & thread for suspension. this video was shot for facsimile magazine's may issue dedicated to the art of cycling... facsimilemagazine.com/2008/05/

careful with thoes gorilla pods, i used one on my bike and a big pot hole broke off the top half of it.

I feel what you did at the 23:50 point was illegal and dangerous on your part and that the vehicle has no responsibility to look behind it for bikes overtaking it on the right side.

I am teaching a friend of mine the tips and tricks of city riding (we live in Tokyo, Japan) and he did something similar and I told him it was his fault.

If the vehicle had overtaken you and then cut you off going right, that would be the vehicle's fault, but you should not pass a car on the right like that at an intersection.

However, after rewatching the video again, it seems that vehicle did not signal for a right turn, so I can see why you thought it was safe to pass them.

Basically I don't pass cars in intersections as a general rule.
